Vehicle Description I've been working on this car for many years and I'm so busy I decided to list it as is and see if there's any interest.
Everything you see on the car is either new, rebuilt or good used thats been checked and detailed except the brakes.
They were operating ok and I was more focused on getting it operational.
I was doing a restoration as a daily driver.
The paint is new and isn't perfect and hasn't been rubbed out yet either.
I was in the process of putting it back together, I believe I have everything needed except the transmission.
It had a 400cu and I'm going back with a 351C.
The 351 takes a C6 small case transmission while the 400 uses the C6 large case.
I do have the C6 large and figured it could be used on a trade or as a core for a rebuilt.
Nothing has been done to the rear axle group, the differential and axles were fine and wasn't planning to go through them at this time.
The front suspension has been done with all new aftermarket parts.
The interior has been checked, items replaced as needed and/or detailed.
Carpet is new.
I have the bucket seats and the new seat covers for them.
I have detailed the horn and padding for the steering wheel and it's ready to go on.
I have the seat belts which have been rebelted and the housings detailed and they're ready too.
New glass in the doors and windshield.
New panel behind the seats with integral spare tire cover is in.
New sill plates are in.
Headliner and visors are mint.
Everything else is in and detailed that completes the interior.
In the engine compartment, you can see the steering box, brake booster, master cylinder, wiper motor, a/c evaporator core, heater core, charcoal cannister, battery tray, starter solenoid is all done and installed.
The engine and everything on it has been rebuilt and on a stand ready to put in.
I have the distributor rebuilt, new aftermarket plugs, filters, shocks, coil, belts, a/c lines with dryer, a/c condenser core, radiator, transmission cooling lines, power steering lines,, replica radiator and heater hoses.
That should complete the engine compartment.
It has the classic Magnum 500 wheels, tires are new.
The driveshaft and transmission cross members need to be detailed but are there.
I had a parts car so there is a zillion spare parts that you can either trade, sell or keep.
There's a nice set of upgraded wheels that were used on mustangs and many other Fords and Mercury of the day.
I cleaned up one so you can see they're not as bad as they look, just been sitting around forever.
It's always been garaged up until last October.
I've got the 5 service manual set, the owners manual an engine and body decal set.
I've tried to give as thorough a description as possible, they're may be something you'll need but it will be minor.
No mileage is listed because the cluster has been replaced.
