Established in 1980, Dr. Anacleto Nick Guti rrez, O.D. serves the Sacramento community and provides a complete eye care experience to families and residents of all ages and visual diagnosis. The practice offers comprehensive eye care services and specializes in ocular disease treatment and management, foreign body removal, specialty contact lenses, and post-surgical care for cataracts and LASIK refractive surgery. Conveniently located in Sacramento s vibrant midtown in a beautiful historic building, the practice is easily accessible within walking distance and proximate to coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, the state capital, and much more. To support long-term practice growth, Dr. Anacleto Nick Guti rrez, O.D., is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to join the team.
Quality patient eye care and servicing complete visual health needs is just one way the practice ensures optimal vision for years to come. The team of professionals utilizes advanced technology and testing to diagnose and treat various eye diseases. The practice offers three fully-equipped examination rooms, and a cohesive staff ensures seamless practice operations, enabling the doctors to care for 24 to 32 patients daily with additional check-ups and eye emergencies. Patients enjoy a modern shopping experience from the optical boutique that offers a wide selection of premium and affordable brands plus, there is an on-site optical lab that can produce most prescriptions and conveniently services patients.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Dr. Anacleto Nick Guti rrez, O.D., is seeking a part-time or full-time Associate Optometrist to provide the highest level of individualized and personalized care, ensuring excellent eye health and vision care. You ll provide full optometric care practice primary eye care two to five days a week. A candidate who is bilingual in Spanish will be a great asset to the team. Additional preferred qualifications include experience in glaucoma treatment, therapeutics, and surgical co-management of cataracts and LASIK. The practice is looking for a personable doctor with excellent patient communication skills, knowledgeable in all things optometry, and is deeply committed to a career of helping others which is reflected in a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. Minimum qualifications include:
Optometry license in the state of California
TPA and TLG certified
Preferred qualifications include:
Bilingual in Spanish
Glaucoma treatment
Surgical co-management of cataracts and LASIK
Proficient in therapeutics
