We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Revenue Cycle Management team of business professionals.
We pride ourselves in creating a fun professional environment, while providing the best patient care experience!The RoleThe primary role of a Revenue Cycle Specialist is to ensure that insurance carriers have received claims in a timely manner, takes actions necessary to resolve all claims and assists in improving overall collections processes, while maintaining high levels of customer service for all our patients' accounts.
Adheres to HIPAA guidelines and other regulations Initial billing of claims, after services are rendered, and completion of all pre-billing edits prior to claims being sent out to carrier(s) Monitor daily rejection report and resubmit corrected claims as needed Verify all claims are on file and being processed within 21 days of billed date Manage aging insurance claims, including but not limited to:
appealing claims for a favorable resolution, writing narratives, creating x-ray attachments, accessing payer websites, and working with the front office staff, and third party entities, to resolve outstanding insurance issues Help manage the insurance verification processes with corresponding teams Friendly and speedy responses to patient inquiries from our front office and correspondence teams Implement patient collection processes and improve our collection protocols within agreed upon deadlines; initiate contact to patients to obtain additional information as needed Audit account balances/credits:
verify payments and fee schedules applied to services rendered along with any necessary adjustment(s) Respond timely to emails and telephone messages as appropriate.
Communicate issues to management, including payer, system or escalated account issues Identify issues or trending to provide suggestions for resolution Accurately and thoroughly document the pertinent activities performed Assist Supervisor on special projects and/or assignmentsSkills Required:
Experience working in a dental billing practice or similar environment Knowledge of medical and dental terminology and procedures Demonstrates a strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills are a must Ability to work independently and with a team Self-motivated and results-oriented Knowledge of dental insurance requiredSkills Desired:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
