TA Client Representative - Part Time

The TA Client Representative supports the division/region in delivering a positive customer experience in a metric driven environment while protecting the best interest of the customers, the funds and Franklin Resources, Inc/Franklin Templeton Investments.
Interactions with customers may occur via electronic or written correspondence and incoming or outgoing telephone calls. Processing interactions are more routine in nature. Develops subject matter expertise to assist peers with fundamental operating procedures. Works within a virtual operational environment, regionally where appropriate.
Responsibilities Include:
Operations & Service Delivery:
Answers routine customer inquiries, articulates customer concerns/problems and contributes to solutions within scope of work via inbound and outbound calls.
Asks appropriate questions to address customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience.
Verifies customer requests to ensure information is correct and in good order, and takes appropriate action.
Processes routine monetary and non-monetary requests on Franklin Templeton business systems.
Corresponds with customers via fax, chat applications/website, email or standard written correspondence, where appropriate.
Adheres to all policies & procedure guidelines and customer service standards to achieve operational, productivity and quality objectives.
Reviews and applies information from internal communication platforms regarding new products, market conditions and regulatory requirements to stay current and operate in the best interest of the customer, funds and enterprise.
May perform relevant operational or service adhoc requests assigned by leader.
Compliance & Risk Management:Adheres to all fund/company policies and regulatory controls/requirements.
Detects potential signs of fraudulent and/or suspicious activity and takes appropriate action with guidance.
Business Process Improvement (Continuous Improvement):
Understands and applies Franklin Templeton's business process improvement principles by participating in Continuous Improvement training and activities.
Fundamental recognition of trends; presents questions that raise awareness and understanding
Identifies improvement opportunities to streamline business processes resulting in greater efficiencies, productivity and/or service.
Teamwork, Networking & Partnering to Achieve Objectives:
Develops relationships within sphere of influence (i.e. supervisory team, functional group, etc) to achieve divisional goals, satisfy customer needs, and resolve problems.
Participates in team discussions to build business insight and knowledge base in order to achieve individual goals and understand team/divisional objectives.
Peer Leadership:
Guides/mentors peers on less complex processes
Identifies opportunities to participate in cross-training
These positions are part time
Ideal candidates will have:
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience should include working for a minimum of four years in a customer service environment, preferably some of that time in a Transfer Agency or Call Service Center where customer interaction is a critical component of the job.
Additional Desirable
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Investment industry experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to multi-task using various systems to address customer needs.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and complete tasks as assigned.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls and meet productivity and utilization targets.
Ability to type 30 wpm and perform accurate data entry.
Problem Solving & Decision Making:
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to take ownership of issues and perform follow-up.
Ability to make independent decisions on a daily basis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
