Summary:
The position requires the daily processing (Data Entry) of provider applications and change forms from numerous sources (Email, Fax, System and Mail). Data Entry consists of additions, terminations and changes to the Provider databases. This position will be responsible for providing timely and accurate provider information through updates to the systems.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in Data Entry Skills
Good Communication Skills - Written and Verbal
The ability to do accurate Record keeping
Knowledge of HIPPA Compliance and its importance in the insurance industry.
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
Two plus years eligibility/data entry experience in a managed healthcare, insurance, and/or account work environment. Experience in the vision insurance industry would be preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent and accurate Data Entry skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of Managed Care in the Healthcare industry
Timely and thorough problem resolution skills
Team orientation and ability to work effectively across functional areas of the company
Strong organizational skills and the ability to be resourceful in problem solving.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks/projects, while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Strong analytical abilities and demonstrated use of good judgment
Ability to work independently utilizing company established processes
Strong execution and follow-up skills
Ability to negotiate with positive outcomesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
