Under the supervision of the Correspondent Purchase Manager, the Correspondent Auditor is responsible for auditing and communicating to the Lender any outstanding items needed in order to purchase the loan.
This position is critical to the success of the Full Correspondent division, and will be expected to work and train cross functionally and partner with other teams in order to meet the production goals throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will be familiar with FHA guidelines, work well in a team atmosphere as well as independently, exhibit excellent customer service skills and will embrace and promote the capabilities of the technology available to achieve and exceed expectations.
Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.
Job Functions:
Ensures that all loans meet guidelines for quality and regulatory compliance and investor closing standards are met Responsible for completing audits of loan files and determining if there are any outstanding required conditions necessary to proceed to purchase Work closely with Pipeline Managers and Purchasers to achieve the maximum service result Participate in planning and developing of procedures to meet corporate objectives and to comply with regulatory requirements.
Data entry into system of record to ensure loan data is accurate and meets minimum requirements Cross-train in all positions for coverage purposes Adhere to Liberty's Service Philosophy and Standards Reliable and regular attendance and punctuality is expected.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
