Datastage Administrator The IBM InfoSphere Datastage ETL Administrator is responsible for the maintenance and support of several large scale Datastage projects that include hundreds of jobs covering conversions, large scale ETLs, and data intake routines. The Datastage administrator maintains database catalogues, IIS projects, project to job relationships, integration with version control, application deployments, and the software development effort. The Datastage administrator is also on point for technical environment support, including both production and non-production environments. Essential Skills Working knowledge of Datastage, Qualitystage and IIS Address Services Ability to analyze existing ETL jobs and provide recommendations for performance and capacity improvements Configure Information server clients, including Information Analyzer, FastTrack, and Metadata Workbench Working knowledge of large scale IIS architecture concepts, including the architectural topology, performance tuning and availability fundamentals Troubleshooting experience - individual must be able to quickly diagnose issues reported by production and non-production users and provide resolution Experience with scripting for automated installation of Datastage, Qualitystage, Information analyzer, Address validation and Metadata workbench. Experience assisting developers debugging Datastage and Quality Stage applications at design and run time Experience migrating Datastage and QualityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
