They will gather payroll data, publish job ads, schedule interviews, and prepare HR-related reports.
They also develop training materials and respond to employee inquiries about benefits.
Overall, their role is to ensure smooth HR operations and provide support to the HR Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment:
Involved in the selection of all staff members for the team Ensure staffing guidelines, requisition, pre-screening, EEO, and application process are consistent with company policy and processes Develop and foster new recruiting sources Directs reference check process, drug testing or background check processes.
Ensures proper procedures are followed for pre-employment drug screen as outlined in Company Policy and per DOT protocol Directs compliance with Immigration Reporting Act, ADA, New Hire Reporting Ensure all offer letters are created according to policy and include the proper information Implements new hire onboarding and employee orientation Compensation/Labor Relations:
Respond and manage all areas related to unemployment claims Conducts exit interviews, consistently

Primary Requirements and
Qualifications:
Work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant, or similar role Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Basic knowledge of labor legislation Ability to travel, driver license in good standing Experience using spreadsheets Attention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving abilities, and teamwork and collaboration abilities Good verbal and written communication skills Educational Background:
A four-year college or university program certificate; or two or more years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Resources Field.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities Job Type:
