Rancho Cordova, CA Rancho Cordova, CA Full-time Full-time $24 - $27 an hour $24 - $27 an hour 12 hours ago 12 hours ago 12 hours ago Position Overview With minimum supervision, the Customer Service Supervisor will serve Atlas Disposal customers by providing information and resolution of product and service problems.
Will act as a lead, supervising and coordinating the work of Customer Service Representatives.
The Customer Service Supervisor will communicate by telephone and email, and work closely with other departments to resolve product or service problems.
Duties and Responsibilities As a lead, instruct and direct Customer Service Representatives by assigning and evaluating work.
Train Customer Service Representatives on systems, procedures, and processes.
Review and approve CSR timesheets.
Handle commercial, residential, and roll-off customer calls for new accounts, service changes, billing questions, service cancellations, misses, etc.
Complete appropriate forms and data entry as required ensuring accurate billing of stops, starts, and adjustments on customer accounts.
Inform customers about the services we have to offer, such as types of bins, rates, and available special service programs.
Generate credit and debit memos as necessary.
Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive, attitude that encourages customer confidence and reflects the professional image desired by Atlas Disposal Industries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 5 years of customer service is desired.
1 year of management experience.
Waste industry experience is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and personnel.
Strong ability to work well with people, under pressure, and with stringent time restraints.
Proficient in negotiations and problem-solving.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Flexible enough to handle multiple tasks and be detail oriented.
Must be proficient and accurate in ten key and data entry.
Experience with PCs and Microsoft Suite.
Basic Math skills required.
Education 2 years of college Work environment and expectations This is a full-time, in-office position.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:
30am to 4:
00pm.
The Customer Service Supervisor may be asked to work overtime as needed.
This position will require the ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
