Duties of the laboratory assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities.
No previous experience needed Responsibilities Receive environmental samples and log-in/data entry Chain of Custody (COC) Review COC's for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and accuracy Inspect samples to ensure sample integrity is retained and that the packaging is not compromised Distribute samples to analysts Generate analytical reports and enter data produced by analysts into the computer system for the production of the final client ready report Properly prioritize, generate and disseminate analytical reports to clients Assist with customer service client questions via phone and e-mail Assist with office and laboratory supply inventory Prepare PCM environmental samples by following the required methods and analyze them using light microscopy (when trained) Follow oral and written directions Be able to work independently, as well as provide support to the team.
Communicate effectively and positively Maintain a clean and organized work space Multitask during low and high-volume work times Apply time management skills to prioritize sample workload Other duties as assigned Job Type:
