-Shift:
4-5 days/week - Days of the week may vary.
The Activity Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activity Assistant Lead with performing daily activities for residents as well as ensuring residents stay as active as possible throughout the day.
He/she is responsible for researching the best activities that help stimulate the mind and body, so it is important that they stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
They may design programs to increase socialization, sensory skills, motor skills, spiritual, cognitive, and social interaction.
He/she is also responsible for promoting physical activity and/or delivering continuing education.
We are looking for someone with compassion, a positive attitude, and someone who is willing to adapt to last minute changes.
